The white blanket that covers Jackson Hole in the winter makes it a magical place to visit. Jackson Hole is surrounded by three ski resorts offering fantastic skiing and snowboarding for all level skiers and snowboarders.
Check out Snow King's NEW terrain park. Snow King Ski Area is located in the town of Jackson and on-site for Snow King Resort Hotel guests, offering steep slopes and inexpensive tickets as well as a highly acclaimed Ski School. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, just 10 miles from town, is world renowned, known for consitant soft snow and challenging terrain. Grand Targhee Ski Resort, located on the Western side of the Tetons, is known for beginner and intermediate terrain and neverending powder skiing. You don't have to enjoy skiing or snowboarding to have fun in Jackson Hole in the winter. Activities like snow tubing, dog sled rides, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in Grand Teton National Park, sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge are just a few activities that will keep you entertained during the winter in Jackson Hole.
